Har full strøm, men ikke et lite klikk engang fra starteren. Automaten hadde en kobling rundt girspaken. Antagelig for startsperre om girspaken ikke sto i P eller N.
Noen som kjenner til dette? At det er helt dødt ?
Hey, depending on what T56 you choose, you might get back some of first gear.
It's not a hard swap. You need the T56 cross member, manual pedal setup, possibly aftermarket quadrant/adjuster, cable (stick to oem cables), FW/PP/clutch. bolts, TOB and pilot bearings (IMO the ford tob sucks so i'd get a timken bearing). You can just shorten your drive shaft and use a hybrid U joint on the T56 slip yoke. (I forget the hybrid U joint part # but i should be able to find it). You need a manual trans harness as well. If you want to use the reverse lockout you will have to wire that. Several options like an rpm activated switch, wire to the brake lights or a separate switch. I just deleted it by taking the servo/solenoid off, removing the spring and plunger and re-installing the solenoid. Free and quick. I couldn't see bothering using it. You'd have to be a degenerate to accidentally stick it into rev shifting into 5th. Not that it could actually ever go in. I HAVE heard that the manual Mach1 computers do have the reverse lockout function in them so you might have that as an option. I dunno.
I'm pretty sure you can shut the auto features off with a tuner. I'm not sure how well it would run with an auto computer. I suspect you might just end up with a mil and possibly weird idle. I did the auto to 6 speed swap at the same time as the 4 valve swap so i cant really comment on that
Here is that tread http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/...light=t56+swap
